elliptical: 18 min, 1.4 miles leg press: did 2 sets @ 70 lbs, then 2 sets @ 80 lbs, then 2 more @ 70 leg extensions & arms: still at 30 lbs - NEED to add more upper body strength training. stat. treadmill: 18 min, 1.02 miles
last night i did the pilates dvd again and was surprised at how much easier it was this time!! i must be getting more in shape even if i can't see a change. (sigh)

went a mighty 22 min on elliptical (1.2 mil, avg 50-60rpm) instead of original 10 min goal. burned like 250 calories? christ. pretty much too beat for anything else useful went up to 80lb reps on leg press. tried going up to 40lb for arms but not quite ready for that. would be nice if i could actually see some changes, but i might need to blame that on my steady diet of carbs and cheese. meh.

treadmill: 45 minutes, 2.7 miles, incline 0.5, 43 feet climbed leg press: 5x10 @ 70lbs arms: same as usual, added some freeweight stuff today
workout mix cd v1.0 rocks! flexibility has improved ridiculously over the last 2 weeks. and it was not bad to begin with.
note to self: research anti-shin splint info.

omg that ruled. prolly my best workout so far. pilates did not break my will.
treadmill: 1.47 miles, 24 minutes. included 3lb handweights for part. leg presses: 10 reps x 5 sets @ 60 lbs. arm pulldown thingie (front and back): 10 reps x 3 sets @ 30 lbs.

Energized by NIN ticket and thoughts of Trent's biceps. ahem. Working out at 10pm = empty gym! Watching HGTV on the treadmill = homolicious yet effective.
Treadmill: 1.1 miles, 19 min, 3.6 mph (cardio/manual setting)
I skipped the bike tonight and went for the weights instead. And boy are my arms tired. Also it would help if I knew the names of all the stations...
Leg presses: maybe like 4 sets of 10, 50 lbs? Quad thingie: 3 sets of 10? at 30 lbs Arm pulldowns, front and back: a whole bunch. sdfjkl.
Then I did some arm exercise with 5 lb. barbells that I read about in some fitness magazine. A whole bunch of those. My right arm now feels like a limp noodle.
I also want to make some mix cds of good/aggro workout music!! Yet another reason why having an iPod would rule it.

okay, I'm sore already. Tomorrow I should probably be immobile. Everything felt really difficult tonight so I had to go pretty easy. Probably due to eating hardly anything today.
Bike: 3.75 miles. Not sure about time. Treadmill: about .6 miles? 3-4mph. Leg presses: 40 lbs, 4 sets of 10 Arm pulldown thingie: at least 3 sets of 10 @ 40 lbs?

Okay. Have just biked 4 miles. The end is nigh. Goddamn I am in the worst shape ever. My weight, the actual number, is fine. But that's because it's all fat, no muscle. It is not a good sight, let me tell you. Anyway. I know 4 miles isn't much, but it's a start. And when you're as lazy as me, starting is really the hardest part. Also the sticking with it.
The gym is actually really nice. There are bikes, step machines, treadmills, free weights, and a big weight machine thing. Also a sauna. I definitely think I can build up to doing more. But considering the last time I exercised regularly was in 12th grade, some forgiveness is necessary. :)
